These are in no particular order.

-I make lists...I would say I make at least one list a week.

Fact: I never check off an entire list.

Fact: I edit my lists daily and like to make little square boxes to go along with each item. Being able to check off any box gives me a sense of accomplishment. I attribute this to my old friend Lindsey Elise Smith.

-I haven't written a song in three months. I feel like part of me is dead but I'm hoping the summer will revive me.

Fact: I used to write a song a week in high school (even though I have forgotten most of them...thank god)

-I can't sit still for more than ten minutes at a time unless I'm asleep or at some musical event or performance

Fact: I attribute this to New York City and copious amounts of coffee

-I never know what to say in social situations

Fact: Default-- music, politics, shitty weather, glorious weather, music

-I haven't heard music that has truly moved me since Arcade Fire

Opinion: I'm tired of the washy Brooklyn Animal Collective-esque bands who hide their potentially great songs in reverb, delay, and loop pedals

-I don't understand fine art but I appreciate it.

Fact: I get bored of museums after roughly one hour and am overcome by the same headache I get when I've been out shopping in highly air conditioned indoor spaces with my Mom.

-I love pop music more than most things on earth.

Fact: I listened to Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" on the radio yesterday in my old car and almost hit a truck on I-10.

-I am extremely clumsy and tend to stumble every time my band plays a show.

Fact: I play it off as a side effect of inebriation.

-I can't stop making Gif animations on photoshop.

Fact: Most of them have something to do with tape, teeth, lips, and African tribal women

-I use the sticky notes on my Macbook way too often.

Fact: I color code them and write words/phrases that are interesting and they remain in my sticky notes FOREVER. Also do this on my Blackberry.

Being back home I feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The beast has finally finished our demo with the help of a Mr. Milo McBride, Julia Schoen, and Jacob Blumberg.

Three tracks are up for streaming and be expecting band photos up soon!

For sure one show coming up the first weekend of December at Lake Johnson in Bushwick and we're going to book some more for November as well!

Summer Plans!

This summer I'm planning on finishing a full length album that I've been working on for sometime called The Sleep and I will be making it available through iTunes, Cd Baby, Amazon, etc. I'm also hoping to put together some kind of live show that will be a combination of mixed media with some of the electronic music I've been recording lately! I will also be looking for a local act in the Houston/Austin area to record/produce since I'll be in Texas from May to September and then I will be heading back to NYC. BBBut I will keep everyone updated on that bit as well!
